About Jones & Co
Nigel Jones commenced in practice as Jones & Co on a full-time basis on 29 February 1988. This was at a time that has subsequently become known as "the boom years". Unlike a majority of businesses that started around that time, we are still here! We have managed to continue increasing our number of clients and staff.
We have targeted the business start-up, as we were one, and consequently have a good understanding of the problems facing new businesses. Unlike many accountants we are more interested in the future than the past, which is why we aim to help you to look for ways to increase your sales and profits.
In addition to our Business Start-Up Guide, of which over 2,000 copies have been distributed, we provide clients with the following literature during the year:
- Newsletters
- Budget summaries
- Tax facts cards
- Topical reports
We have also developed a range of information sheets on various accounting and tax topics. These are intended to be practical and to be easily understood.
Whist we have targeted the start-up market, we have also welcomed a substantial number of existing businesses, these coming mainly through personal recommendation.
Whilst we would not claim to be the cheapest firm around, we believe that we give excellent value for money. Our success depends upon your success. To do this, we aim to give a standard of service that we believe will not easily be beaten.
